Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Bacon chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 5 ounces Blue Cheese room temperature
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives minced

Instructions

  • Step 1: Cook the Bacon - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy and golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
  • Step 2: Sauté the Garlic - In the same skillet, reduce heat slightly and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Step 3: Mix the Cream Cheese and Blue Cheese - In a mixing bowl, combine room-temperature cream cheese and blue cheese. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 4: Combine Ingredients - Add crispy bacon (reserve some for garnish), sautéed garlic, and minced chives to the cheese mixture. Stir until well combined.
  • Step 5: Bake to Perfection - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer dip mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Step 6: Serve and Enjoy - Let cool for a couple of minutes, sprinkle with reserved bacon and additional chives. Serve warm with dippers like crackers or fresh veggies.

Notes

For a bit of heat, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes. Let cheeses sit at room temperature for easier blending.
