Ingredients

  • 1 carrot peeled and chopped
  • 1 Granny Smith apple cored and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries stem removed
  • 1/2 lime juiced
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey optional
  • 1 glass water

Instructions

  • Wash all your fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Peel and chop the carrot into small pieces. Core and chop the Granny Smith apple, and remove the stems from the strawberries.
  • In your blender, combine the chopped carrot, Granny Smith apple, fresh strawberries, and the juice of half a lime. Add agave nectar or honey if desired.
  • Pour in one glass of water to help blend and achieve your desired consistency.
  • Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and smooth, about 30-60 seconds.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if necessary, adding more lime juice or sweetener as needed.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass or mason jar. Garnish if desired and enjoy your nutrient-rich morning boost!
