Ingredients

For the Blondies:

  • 2 cups brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 bars Skor or Heath bars chopped or 1 ½ cups toffee bits

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line your 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and packed brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  • Fold in the chopped Skor or Heath bars.
  • Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely before slicing.
