Ingredients

  • 32 oz refried beans (canned)
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 oz taco seasoning packet
  • 6 cups shredded cheese (recommended: Fiesta or Mexican Blend)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the refried beans, sour cream, cream cheese, and taco seasoning. Mix until well blended and creamy.
  • Fold in 4 cups of the shredded cheese, reserving 2 cups for the topping.
  • Spoon the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle the reserved 2 cups of shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving warm with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.
