Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 packages refrigerated crescent dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1.5 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 cups chopped spinach (fresh or frozen, thawed and squeezed dry)
  • 0.5 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 0.5 cup pico de gallo, drained well
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, chopped spinach, taco seasoning, and pico de gallo. Mix until well-blended.
  • Step 3: Unroll both packages of crescent dough and press the seams of the triangles together to create rectangles.
  • Step 4: Scoop a generous spoonful of the filling onto each rectangle of dough, leaving a half-inch border along the edges.
  • Step 5: Starting from the wide end, roll the dough tightly around the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Step 6: In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash.
  • Step 7: Place the rolls on a lined baking sheet and brush the tops with the egg wash. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 8: Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce!
