Ingredients

For the Marinade:

  • 2 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 2 Tbs Sriracha Sauce
  • 2 Limes Juice and Zest

For Seasoning:

Instructions

Instructions:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, lime zest, and smashed garlic cloves. Whisk everything together until smooth and well combined.
  • Take your boneless skinless chicken tenders and season them lightly with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the seasoned chicken tenders in a large ziplock bag or a bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
  • Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, but for best results, let it sit for 4-6 hours or even overnight.
  • Once marinated, preheat your grill or oven. Cook the chicken over medium-high heat for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). If using an oven, bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Plastic Wrap or Ziplock Bags
  • Grill or Oven

Notes

  • Smash the garlic cloves to release their flavor fully.
  • Don’t skip the marinating time; it's crucial for flavor development.
  • Check the chicken's internal temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure it's cooked through.
