In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Sriracha sauce, lime juice, lime zest, and smashed garlic cloves. Whisk everything together until smooth and well combined.
Take your boneless skinless chicken tenders and season them lightly with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the seasoned chicken tenders in a large ziplock bag or a bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, but for best results, let it sit for 4-6 hours or even overnight.
Once marinated, preheat your grill or oven. Cook the chicken over medium-high heat for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). If using an oven, bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes.
