Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure that your Spinach Dip Bites bake evenly and get that lovely golden color.
Step 2: Prepare the Spinach. If using frozen spinach, thaw it completely and then drain it well to remove excess moisture. If using fresh spinach, cook it until wilted, then drain and chop finely.
Step 3: Combine the Filling. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts (if using), softened cream cheese, half of the grated Parmesan, half of the mozzarella, and the Stone House Seasoning or alternative seasoning. Mix until well combined.
Step 4: Unroll the Dough. Open the package of Crescent Roll Dough and unroll it onto a lightly floured surface. You will see perforated lines that divide the dough into triangles.
Step 5: Cut the Dough. Using a knife or kitchen scissors, cut the dough into squares or rectangles, ensuring they are large enough to hold a spoonful of the spinach filling.
Step 6: Assemble the Bites. Place a spoonful of the spinach mixture onto the center of each dough square. Fold the corners over the filling to create a pocket or simply pinch the edges together to seal.
Step 7: Bake. Arrange the filled bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the tops. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 8: Cool and Serve. Once baked, allow the Spinach Dip Bites to cool for a few minutes before serving. They’re best enjoyed warm, straight from the oven!
