Ingredients

  • 16 ounces peanuts dry roasted or roasted and salted
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the honey, granulated sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper. Stir over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and begins to bubble slightly (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add the peanuts to the saucepan and stir until fully coated with the honey mixture.
  • Transfer the coated peanuts onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading them out in a single layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet before enjoying or storing.
