Ingredients

For the Pizza:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil plus more for brushing
  • 1 pound fresh pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 16 slices pepperoni small
  • ½ cup thinly sliced bell pepper (red and green)
  • ½ cup thinly sliced red onions
  • 1 cup sliced white mushrooms
  • ½ cup sliced olives
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

Directions:

  • Preheat your skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and let it heat up for a minute.
  • Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to fit the size of your skillet, about ¼ inch thick.
  • Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough into the hot skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the cooked dough. Top with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, red onions, mushrooms, olives, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
  • Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted.
  • Remove the skillet from heat, brush the edges of the crust with olive oil, let it cool for a minute, then slice and serve.
