  • 1 can (15 oz) Garbanzo beans, drained

  • cup Tahini
  • cup Lemon juice
  • ½ cup Roasted red peppers
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients. Drain and rinse the garbanzo beans under cool water.
  • In a food processor, blend the garbanzo beans, garlic, and tahini until smooth.
  • Add lemon juice, roasted red peppers, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Blend until creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add water if the hummus is too thick.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish with paprika or basil. Serve with veggies or pita chips.
