Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Step 2: Wash the broccoli florets under cold water and pat them dry. Cut into evenly sized florets.
  • Step 3: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add cumin, chipotle powder (if using), sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Step 4: In a large mixing bowl, add the broccoli florets and pour the cumin butter over them. Toss until thoroughly coated.
  • Step 5: Spread the coated broccoli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  • Step 6: Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through, until tender and caramelized.
