Ingredients

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding (13.4 oz)
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 pinch cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 can pumpkin puree (15 oz)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and kosher salt.
  • Stir in the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until everything is well combined.
  • Gradually add in the whole milk while whisking continuously until you have a uniform consistency.
  • In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture using a spatula.
  • Spoon the mousse into serving cups or bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow it to set.
  • Before serving, sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for garnish.
