Instructions
Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and minced jalapeno.
Step 2: Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves and cranberries break down, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 3: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
Step 4: Place brie in the center of the pastry and spoon cranberry mixture on top.
Step 5: Fold pastry around brie, sealing any openings, and place seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 6: Brush with beaten egg for a golden color.
Step 7: Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
Step 8: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm with crackers, bread, or apple slices.
