Salad Ingredients
6cupsbaby spinachpacked
1mediumpearsliced into thin wedges
½cuphoney-glazed walnuts
½cupdried cranberries
⅓cupGorgonzola cheesecrumbled
4slicesthick-cut turkey baconcooked and crumbled
Instructions
Begin by rinsing the baby spinach under cold water. Dry the leaves thoroughly using a salad spinner or by patting them down with a clean kitchen towel. Place the spinach in a large salad bowl.
Wash the pear thoroughly and slice it into thin wedges, leaving the skin on for added color and nutrition.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to absorb excess grease. Once cooled, crumble the bacon.
In the bowl with the spinach, add the sliced pear, honey-glazed walnuts, dried cranberries, and crumbled Gorgonzola cheese.
Gently toss all the ingredients together using salad tongs or two large forks, being careful not to bruise the spinach leaves or pear slices.
Transfer the salad to serving plates or keep it in the large salad bowl for guests to help themselves. Optionally, drizzle with vinaigrette or serve without dressing.

Notes
Choose a ripe pear for optimal sweetness. Consider adding a splash of balsamic vinegar for extra flavor. If preparing ahead, keep pears separate until serving to prevent browning.
