Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats or quick oats Choose your preference for texture.
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter or powdered peanut butter Adds creaminess and flavor.
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice Almond, soy, or cow's milk—whatever you prefer!
  • 1/2 cup yogurt or mashed banana For added creaminess and nutrition.
  • 1/8 tsp salt Enhances all the flavors.
  • 1 tbsp protein powder or chia seeds Optional for extra nutrition.
  • 1 handful of mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, or sliced banana Optional toppings.

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl or directly in your jar, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter (or powdered peanut butter), milk, yogurt or mashed banana, sweetener, and salt. Stir until everything is well mixed and the peanut butter is fully incorporated.
  • If you’re using protein powder or chia seeds, this is the time to add them to the mixture. Stir again until everything is well blended.
  • Cover your jar or container with a lid and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the mixture to soak overnight (or at least for 4 hours) so the oats can absorb the liquid and soften.
  • In the morning, give your oats a good stir. Add your favorite toppings like mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, or sliced banana for an extra touch of flavor and texture. Enjoy your delicious and nutritious Peanut Butter Overnight Oats!
