Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing removed
  • 2 cups fresh peaches sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Peaches

  • Wash and slice the fresh peaches. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Toss to coat evenly.

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls

  • Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and remove the icing from the top, setting it aside if desired. Cut each cinnamon roll into halves or quarters to create bite-sized pieces.

Assemble the Bake

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish. Spread the cinnamon roll pieces evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  • Pour the peach mixture over the cinnamon rolls evenly. Drizzle melted butter over the top.

Bake

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cinnamon rolls are cooked through and peach filling is bubbly and golden brown.

Add the Icing and Serve

  • Let the bake cool for 10 minutes. Drizzle reserved cinnamon roll icing over the top if desired. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • 9x9-inch Baking Dish
  • Oven

Notes

  • Remove icing from cinnamon rolls before baking to avoid overly sweet, sticky dessert.
  • Use ripe, juicy peaches for best flavor and texture.
  • Watch baking time carefully to prevent drying out the cinnamon rolls.
  • Try swapping peaches for nectarines or plums for a different fruit twist.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently.
