Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches sliced
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Begin by washing the peaches thoroughly. Slice each peach into approximately 1/4-inch thick rounds, removing the pit. Slice the fresh mozzarella cheese into rounds roughly the same size as the peach slices. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, then drain on paper towels and crumble into bite-sized pieces. Wash and pat dry the basil leaves.

Assemble the Towers

  • Start with a slice of peach as the base. Add a slice of mozzarella on top, then place a fresh basil leaf or two. Sprinkle a few pieces of crumbled turkey bacon over the basil. Repeat the layers alternating peach slices, mozzarella, basil, and bacon until you have 3 or 4 layers stacked high, finishing with a basil leaf on top.

Season and Drizzle

  • Season the towers lightly with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Drizzle olive oil over each stack. Finally, generously drizzle the balsamic glaze over the towers.
