Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • cup Nutella
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step 4: Beat in the Nutella until fully incorporated, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Step 6: In a small bowl, combine the 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar with the 1 ½ teaspoons of cinnamon for the coating.
  • Step 7: Scoop out portions of dough and roll them into balls, then roll each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Step 8: Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Step 9: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
