Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Bread Thick-cut works best.
  • 1 tsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • 2 slices Roasted Turkey
  • 2 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 1-2 Tbsp Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 large Egg
  • ½ cup Milk

Instructions

  • Step 1: Mix mayonnaise and yellow mustard in a small bowl. Spread this mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Step 2: On one slice of bread, layer the roasted turkey, followed by the provolone cheese, and then add the cranberry sauce. Top with the second slice of bread, spread side down.
  • Step 3: In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until well combined.
  • Step 4: Dip the assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Allow excess to drip off.
  • Step 5: In a skillet over medium heat, add oil or butter. Once hot, add the sandwich and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Step 6: Remove the sandwich from the skillet, let it sit for a minute, then slice in half and serve warm.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Skillet

Notes

For extra flavor, add garlic or onion powder to the egg mixture. Use thicker bread for a heartier sandwich.
