  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 package orzo pasta uncooked (16-oz)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • 1 can French fried onions 2.8-oz

Instructions

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready to bake your Million Dollar Chicken Orzo to perfection.
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the orzo according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cottage cheese, chicken stock, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese to the creamy mixture. Stir until fully incorporated.
  • Fold in the cooked chopped chicken and the cooked orzo to the creamy cheese mixture. Ensure that everything is well coated.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and the French fried onions for a crunchy topping.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
