Ingredients

  • 2 cups low-calorie dairy or dairy-free ice cream (such as Halo Top or Enlightened)
  • 2 cups Special K cereal (crushed or gluten-free cereal)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tsp Hershey's chocolate syrup
  • 1 piece Cherry (for topping, optional)
  • 1 cup Truwhip (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Special K cereal and ground cinnamon. Mix thoroughly until all the cereal is evenly coated with cinnamon.
  • Using an ice cream scoop, portion out the low-calorie ice cream into serving dishes. Aim for about 1 cup of ice cream per serving to keep it satisfying yet light.
  • Take the cereal mixture and generously sprinkle it over the scoops of ice cream. Make sure to coat the ice cream well so that every bite is filled with that delightful crunch.
  • Drizzle the Hershey's chocolate syrup over the top of the cereal-coated ice cream. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, add a dollop of Truwhip and a cherry on top for that classic sundae feel!
  • This dessert is best enjoyed right away while the ice cream is still cold and the cereal is crunchy. Gather your loved ones and dig in!
