Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fat-free sour cream
  • 3/4 cup fat-free Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup Hellmann's light mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • to taste Freshly ground pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cups 1% low-fat buttermilk

Instructions

  • Start by measuring out all of your ingredients. Having everything prepped and ready to go makes the process smoother and more enjoyable.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the fat-free sour cream, fat-free Greek yogurt, and light mayonnaise. Use your whisk to blend these three ingredients together until you have a smooth and creamy base.
  • Next, sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, chopped chives, chopped parsley, salt, and a few cracks of freshly ground pepper. Whisk these ingredients into the creamy mixture until they are fully incorporated.
  • Now it’s time to add the 1% low-fat buttermilk. Gradually pour it into the bowl while whisking to ensure a smooth consistency. The amount of buttermilk can be adjusted based on how thick or thin you prefer your dressing.
  • For that tangy ranch flavor, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of white balsamic vinegar. Start with one tablespoon, taste the dressing, and add more if you want a sharper kick.
  • Give your dressing a final taste test. Adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt, pepper, or vinegar according to your preferences.
  • Transfer the dressing to a sealable storage container and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully. Once chilled, it’s ready to serve!
