Instructions
Step 1: Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve half a cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
Step 3: Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and add lemon zest. Stir to combine.
Step 4: Toss in the drained fettuccine, mixing well with the shrimp and sauce. Add reserved pasta water gradually if needed for consistency.
Step 5: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately with extra lemon wedges if desired.
