  • 0.33 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 pieces Eggs
  • 1 piece Lemon (Juice & Zest)
  • 0.5 cup Flour
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 6 oz Fresh Blackberries
  • to taste Candied Lemon Slices for garnishing (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Lightly butter a 9-inch round baking dish.
  • Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine milk, sugar, eggs, lemon juice & zest, flour, salt, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  • Step 4: Gently fold in the blackberries.
  • Step 5: Pour the batter into the buttered baking dish.
  • Step 6: Bake for 35-40 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  • Step 7: Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with candied lemon slices if desired.
