Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 4 large Tortillas Flour or corn, your choice.
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2-4 pieces Jalapeños Seeded and diced, adjust based on spice preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Sliced, optional for garnish.
  • as needed Cooking Oil Or non-stick cooking spray.

Instructions

  • Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
  • Step 2: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a generous amount of the cheese and jalapeño mixture onto half of the tortilla, spreading it evenly. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
  • Step 3: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a little cooking oil or spray with non-stick spray. Once hot, place the folded quesadilla into the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden and crispy. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side. Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas.
  • Step 4: Once cooked, remove the quesadillas from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before cutting them into wedges. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. Garnish with sliced green onions.
