  • Step 1: Prepare Your Equipment - Gather all your ingredients and place the trivet in the bottom of the Instant Pot.
  • Step 2: Add Water - Pour 1 cup of water into the pot. For an 8-quart model, increase to 1 ½ cups.
  • Step 3: Arrange the Eggs - Carefully place the eggs on the trivet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Step 4: Seal the Instant Pot - Close the lid and set the pressure valve to sealing.
  • Step 5: Set the Cooking Time - Select manual/pressure cook and set timer: Soft-boiled: 3-4 minutes, Medium-boiled: 5-6 minutes, Hard-boiled: 7-8 minutes.
  • Step 6: Natural Release - After cooking, allow pressure to naturally release for 5 minutes, then switch to venting.
  • Step 7: Ice Bath - Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water and let sit for at least 5 minutes.
  • Step 8: Peel and Enjoy! - Tap the eggs on a hard surface and peel.
