Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes scrubbed and cut into 1/4-inch sticks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Instructions

  • Start by scrubbing your potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt. Once clean, cut them into 1/4-inch thick sticks.
  • For even better results, consider soaking the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes. After soaking, make sure to dry them thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine your potato sticks with olive oil and salt. Toss until the fries are well coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • After 15 minutes, check on your fries. If you prefer them crispier, feel free to add an extra 3-5 minutes of cooking time.
  • Once cooked to perfection, remove the fries from the air fryer and serve immediately.
