Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 8 medium chicken drumsticks (skin removed)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the hoisin sauce, lime juice, and Tabasco sauce. Stir well.
  • Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl, coating them thoroughly with the marinade. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated drumsticks, spacing them apart.
  • Bake the drumsticks for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), basting halfway through.
  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 3-5 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and serve hot!

  • Baking Sheet
  • Mixing Bowl

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
