  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Step 1: Wash the heirloom tomatoes thoroughly and slice them into bite-sized pieces. Place them in a large serving bowl.
  • Step 2: In a small mixing bowl, combine grape juice vinegar, Dijon mustard, finely chopped shallot, honey, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  • Step 3: While whisking, slowly drizzle in the olive oil to emulsify the dressing.
  • Step 4: Pour the vinaigrette over the tomatoes and gently toss to coat. Let marinate for 15 minutes if desired. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
