Instructions:
Gather all your ingredients and tools. If using fresh pineapple, dice it. If using canned, drain it slightly.
If making BBQ sauce from scratch, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and spices in a saucepan. Simmer until thickened.
In a large mixing bowl, add the pre-cooked frozen meatballs. Pour in the BBQ sauce and gently toss until coated.
Carefully fold in the diced pineapple.
Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. Alternatively, cook in a skillet over medium heat until heated through.
Serve warm and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.
