  • 50-60 pieces pre-cooked frozen meatballs store-bought or homemade
  • 2.5 cups homemade BBQ sauce store-bought can also be used
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple diced, or slightly drained crushed pineapple
  • Optional garnishes chopped green onions or sesame seeds

Instructions

Instructions:

  • Gather all your ingredients and tools. If using fresh pineapple, dice it. If using canned, drain it slightly.
  • If making BBQ sauce from scratch, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and spices in a saucepan. Simmer until thickened.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the pre-cooked frozen meatballs. Pour in the BBQ sauce and gently toss until coated.
  • Carefully fold in the diced pineapple.
  • Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. Alternatively, cook in a skillet over medium heat until heated through.
  • Serve warm and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.
