Instructions
Step 1: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the trimmed green beans and blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and plunge into ice water.
Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced shallots and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
