Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Green Beans - Trim the ends off of the beans and rinse them under cold water.
Step 2: Blanch the Beans - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the trimmed green beans and blanch for 3-4 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath.
Step 3: Sauté the Aromatics - In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shallot and sauté for 2-3 minutes, then add garlic and sauté for another minute.
Step 4: Make the Honey Pecan Butter - Add chopped pecans and honey to the skillet. Stir and toast for 3-5 minutes.
Step 5: Combine and Serve - Add blanched green beans and cranberries to the skillet. Toss to coat and season with salt and pepper.
Step 6: Garnish and Present - Transfer to a serving dish and drizzle with honey or sprinkle extra pecans if desired.
