Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3: Add the lightly beaten eggs, milk, and lemon extract to the mixture and mix well.
Step 4: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
Step 5: Drop dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
Step 6: Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
Step 7: Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Step 8: Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, water, and lemon extract until smooth.
Step 9: Drizzle the glaze over cooled cookies and let set before serving.
