Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt Greek yogurt works beautifully for a thicker texture
  • 1 cup fig jam
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup mixed berries optional; fresh or frozen

Tools

  • popsicle molds
  • popsicle sticks

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine the plain yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and the honey is fully incorporated.
  • Warm the fig jam slightly in the microwave (about 15-20 seconds) or on the stove to make it easier to swirl. It should be warm but not hot.
  • Start by spooning a bit of the yogurt mixture into each popsicle mold. Add a spoonful of the warmed fig jam on top. Use a skewer or butter knife to gently swirl the jam into the yogurt, creating a marbled effect. Repeat until molds are filled, leaving space at the top.
  • If using mixed berries, sprinkle a few into each mold, pushing them slightly into the mixture.
  • Place the popsicle sticks into the molds. If molds don’t have a built-in stick holder, freeze for 30-40 minutes until edges are firm, then insert sticks. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours or overnight until fully frozen.
  • To unmold, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds. Gently pull the popsicles out and enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Equipment

  • Popsicle Molds
  • Microwave or stove
  • Medium Bowl
  • Skewer or butter knife

Notes

  • Use Greek or strained yogurt for a creamier texture that freezes well.
  • Warm the fig jam slightly to ensure beautiful swirling and prevent clumping.
  • Leave space at the top of molds to allow for expansion during freezing.
  • Partially freeze before inserting sticks to keep them upright and centered.
  • Store popsicles in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks to maintain freshness.
