Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures that your dish cooks evenly.
  • In a mixing bowl, season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the baking dish. Make sure they are evenly spaced for proper cooking.
  • Sprinkle the grape tomatoes and minced garlic around the chicken in the dish. Their juices will meld beautifully with the chicken as it bakes.
  • Take your block of feta cheese and crumble it over the chicken and tomatoes. This is where the magic happens!
  • Drizzle lemon juice over the top, then sprinkle with dried thyme, dried basil, and onion powder. The flavors will intensify during baking.
  • Pour the heavy cream evenly over the entire dish to create a luscious sauce that will soak into the chicken.
