Ingredients

For the Quiche:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 9-inch deep dish frozen pie crust

Instructions

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for your quiche.
  • Step 2: Brown the Beef - In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Step 3: Season the Beef - Stir in the taco seasoning and cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Step 4: Mix the Egg Filling - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and sour cream until well combined.
  • Step 5: Assemble the Quiche - Place the frozen pie crust on a baking sheet. Spread the cooked ground beef evenly over the crust. Pour the salsa on top, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything.
  • Step 6: Add Egg Mixture - Carefully pour the egg mixture over the entire quiche, ensuring to cover all the fillings.
  • Step 7: Bake - Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
  • Step 8: Cool and Serve - Once baked, let the quiche cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy your Easy Taco Quiche!
