Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder divided
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 cup your favorite pizza toppings options include pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, sausage, or olives
  • 2 cups marinara sauce for serving

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for even baking.
  • Step 2: If using store-bought pizza dough, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Step 3: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  • Step 4: Brush the dough with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, sprinkle with ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning.
  • Step 5: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough and add your favorite toppings.
  • Step 6: Cut the dough into 2-inch squares or strips.
  • Step 7: Stack the cut pieces in a prepared baking dish.
  • Step 8: Drizzle with remaining olive oil and sprinkle with remaining garlic powder and parmesan cheese.
  • Step 9: Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Step 10: Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
