  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature is key to achieving those crispy edges we all love.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Potatoes - Wash and peel the golden potatoes. Cut them into even-sized pieces, roughly 1 to 2 inches in size.
  • Step 3: Mix the Ingredients - In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter and olive oil. Add in the smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well combined.
  • Step 4: Coat the Potatoes - Add the chopped potatoes to the bowl and toss them in the mixture until they are evenly coated.
  • Step 5: Arrange on the Baking Sheet - Line your baking sheet with parchment paper (optional), then spread the coated potatoes in a single layer.
  • Step 6: Roast the Potatoes - Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the potatoes for about 30-35 minutes. Toss halfway through.
  • Step 7: Garnish and Serve - Once the potatoes are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the oven. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
