Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta - Boil a large pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and reserve half a cup of pasta water.
Step 2: Sauté the Shrimp - Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Sauté until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Create the Creamy Sauce - In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and lemon juice, simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Step 4: Combine Pasta and Shrimp - Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
