  • 1 cup milk any variety, almond, oat, or cow's milk
  • 1 cup kale chopped, thick stem removed
  • 1 medium ripe avocado the star ingredient for creaminess
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 large banana fresh or frozen

Instructions

  • Start by measuring out all your ingredients. Chop the kale and avocado, and ensure fresh blueberries and banana are ripe.
  • In your high-speed blender, add the milk first to help the blending process.
  • Next, toss in the chopped kale.
  • Add the ripe avocado and banana for creaminess.
  • Finally, add the blueberries. Adjust milk if using frozen blueberries.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth. Add more milk if too thick.
  • Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding honey or maple syrup.
  • Pour into your favorite glass or mason jar and top with extra blueberries or chia seeds if desired.
