  • 4-5 cups Chicken Broth Enough to cover the vegetables

Dairy

  • ½ cup Heavy Cream

Condiments

  • 1-2 tablespoons Lemon Juice

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Asparagus - Begin by washing the asparagus thoroughly. Trim off the woody ends and cut the asparagus into 1-inch pieces. Set aside.

  • Step 4: Blend the Soup - Remove the pot from heat and blend the soup until smooth using an immersion blender or a traditional blender in batches.
  • Step 5: Incorporate Cream and Seasoning - Return the blended soup to the pot, add the heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir gently to combine.
  • Step 6: Serve and Enjoy - Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh herbs or a dollop of sour cream if desired. Serve hot.
