  • 1 box Refrigerated pie crusts
  • 8 oz Chive and onion cream cheese spread
  • 1 large Egg
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 3-4 oz Goat cheese chevre
  • ½ cup Whole berry cranberry sauce
  • cup Coarsely chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Step 2: Roll out the refrigerated pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and cut out circles about 3 inches in diameter.
  • Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine the chive and onion cream cheese spread with the goat cheese chevre. Mash until smooth and season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 4: Place a spoonful of the cheese filling in the center of each pie crust circle. Top with cranberry sauce and walnuts.
  • Step 5: Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and crimp the edges to seal.
  • Step 6: Beat the egg with a splash of water and brush the tops of each bite with the egg wash.
  • Step 7: Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 8: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
