Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds extra-lean ground beef

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the lightly beaten eggs, fresh bread crumbs, ketchup, dried minced onion, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • Gently fold in the extra-lean ground beef into the mixture. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Using your hands, scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the formed meatballs onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  • Once baked, remove the meatballs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
