Ingredients

For the Guacamole:

  • 2 pieces ripe Haas avocados Look for ones that are slightly soft to the touch for the best creaminess.
  • 1 piece lime Freshly juiced for maximum flavor.
  • 1 clove garlic Finely minced; prefer a larger clove for more garlic goodness.
  • to taste Salt Enhances all the flavors.
  • to taste Pepper Freshly cracked for a bit of spice.
  • 1 small Roma tomato Diced for that fresh, juicy burst.
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro Chopped; use more if you're a cilantro lover!

Instructions

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Avocados - Start by cutting the avocados in half. Remove the pit with the help of a knife (be careful!). Scoop the creamy flesh into a bowl using a spoon.
  • Step 2: Mash the Avocados - Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired consistency. I like mine a bit chunky for texture, but you can make it as smooth as you prefer.
  • Step 3: Add the Flavor Bombs - Add the freshly squeezed lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocados. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
  • Step 4: Fold in the Fresh Ingredients - Gently fold in the diced Roma tomato and chopped cilantro. This adds a beautiful color and fresh flavor to your guacamole, making it irresistible.
  • Step 5: Taste and Adjust - Give your guacamole a taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more salt, pepper, or lime juice according to your preference.
  • Step 6: Serve Immediately - Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and enjoy it with tortilla chips, on tacos, or as a spread on sandwiches. If you have any leftovers, see the storage tips below.
