Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step 2: Add in the vanilla extract and mix until incorporated.
  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Step 5: Add the milk to the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Step 6: Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
