Optional toppings:

  • 1 cup Chopped nuts almonds, walnuts, or hazelnuts
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut
  • 1 cup Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Begin by washing your strawberries thoroughly. After rinsing, gently pat them dry using paper towels.
  • Place the finely chopped semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave it in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until the chocolate is smooth and completely melted.
  • Once the chocolate is melted, hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the chocolate. Swirl it around to ensure it’s evenly coated, then lift it out and let any excess chocolate drip off.
  • If you want to jazz up your Chocolate-Covered Strawberries, now is the time to add toppings.
  • Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Once all the strawberries are coated, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
