Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey for natural sweetness and binding.
  • 1 cup almond butter for creaminess and healthy fats.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter to enhance flavor and texture.
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract for a lovely aromatic flavor.
  • 1 cup granola cereal adds crunch and flavor.
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats a hearty base loaded with fiber.
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips for that irresistible chocolatey goodness.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat & Prepare - Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy cleanup later.
  • Step 2: Melt the Base - In a medium saucepan over low heat, add the honey, almond butter, and unsalted butter. Stir continuously until melted and well combined, ensuring it doesn’t boil.
  • Step 3: Add Flavor - Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the pure vanilla extract.
  • Step 4: Combine Dry Ingredients - In a large mixing bowl, combine the granola cereal and old-fashioned rolled oats. Pour the melted mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Step 5: Fold in the Chocolate Chips - Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips, making sure they are evenly distributed.
  • Step 6: Form the Bites - Using your hands or a cookie scoop, form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Step 7: Bake - Bake the granola bites in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until they are lightly golden.
  • Step 8: Cool & Enjoy - Once baked, remove the sheet from the oven and let the bites cool completely on the baking sheet.
