Ingredients

  • 2 cups rotini pasta uncooked
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing (Cardini's or Brianna's are great options)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 ½ cups Caesar flavored croutons coarsely crushed
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once the water is boiling, add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside to cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, chicken broth, and chopped green onions. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Add the cooked rotini pasta to the chicken mixture. Gently fold the pasta into the mixture until it's evenly coated with the dressing.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the pasta and chicken mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle the coarsely crushed Caesar flavored croutons and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the casserole. This will create a beautiful, crispy crust once baked.
  • Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  • Once baked, allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional green onions if desired, and enjoy the delightful flavors of your Chicken Caesar Pasta Casserole!

Equipment

  • Large pot for boiling pasta
  • Large mixing bowl for combining ingredients
  • 9x13 inch Baking Dish
  • Wooden spoon or spatula for mixing
  • Oven for baking

Notes

  • Assemble the casserole a day in advance and store in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
  • Add extra chicken broth or dressing if the casserole seems dry before baking.
  • To prevent soggy croutons, add them only in the last 10 minutes of baking.
