Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2.25 cups All-purpose flour
  • cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup Buttermilk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Caramel extract
  • ¼ cup Apple butter

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Grease a doughnut pan with non-stick spray or melted butter.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and whisk together.
  • Step 4: In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients until smooth.
  • Step 5: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Step 6: Fill each cavity of the doughnut pan about ⅔ full with the batter.
  • Step 7: Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 8: Allow doughnuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
