Ingredients

For the Brownie Pie:

  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 1/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

For the Chocolate Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For Serving:

  • 3 1/3 cups vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Melt the chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.
  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Step 4: Beat the eggs and sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy, then stir in vanilla.
  • Step 5: Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the egg mixture, then fold in dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
  • Step 6: Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch pie dish and spread evenly.
  • Step 7: Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly soft.
  • Step 8: Prepare the chocolate sauce by melting evaporated milk, sugar, butter, and chocolate chips.
  • Step 9: Serve the brownie pie warm with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
